Meet Cherri
Certified Personal & Executive Coach, Consultant
Cherri Peate was born and raised in South Bend, Indiana. A proud graduate of Washington High School (South Bend Community School Corporation), she furthered her studies by attending Indiana University Purdue University of
Indianapolis, receiving her Bachelor of Arts in sociology; later, her Master of Science in public service management from DePaul University.
A lifelong learner, she received her certification, from the Coaching and Positive Psychology Institute (CaPP), in Personal & Executive Coaching; and is on track towards an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credentials, from the International Coaching Federation, (ICF).
Cherri’s educational attainment and established reputation within the community, afforded her the opportunity to serve in advisory, directorship, and C-suite roles at reputable organizations. In 2019, Cherri was inducted in the Michiana Forty under 40 for demonstrating career success and significant contribution to her community before the age of 40; later that year, awarded the Key to the City from Mayor Pete Buttigieg, for her exemplary work in and for the community.
In 2021, Cherri started her own practice, UnEarthed Coaching & Consulting and is committed to helping individuals reject thoughts of limitation—motivating her clients to embrace positive transformation. As a consultant, she counsels organizations in the area of community outreach & engagement and strategic planning.
