Meet Cherri
Certified Personal & Executive Coach, Consultant
Cherri (née Peate) Kulp was born and raised in South Bend, Indiana. A proud graduate of Washington High School (South Bend Community School Corporation), she furthered her studies by attending Indiana University Purdue University of
Indianapolis, receiving her Bachelor of Arts in sociology; later, her Master of Science in public service management from DePaul University.
A lifelong learner, she successfully received her credentials from the Coaching and Positive Psychology Institute (CaPP), in Personal & Executive Coaching and has obtained the esteemed Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credentials from the globally recognized organization, International Coaching Federation (ICF). This accreditation is a testament to her exceptional professional achievements as a coach practitioner.
Cherri’s educational attainment and established reputation within the community, afforded her the opportunity to serve in advisory, directorship, and C-suite roles at reputable organizations. In 2019, Cherri was inducted into the Michiana Forty under 40 for demonstrating career success and significant contribution to her community before the age of 40; later that year, awarded the Key to the City from Mayor Pete Buttigieg for her exemplary work in and for the community. In 2023, she received the Inclusive Excellence Award for her dedication to fostering a culture of inclusivity and excellence in the business sector. In 2024, the Women Who Advocate for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Award for her work to empower all in the community.
Cherri, a dedicated professional, launched her own practice in 2021. Since then, she has successfully guided numerous individuals in a personalized and confidential manner. Her utmost goal is to empower individuals to break free from self-imposed limitations and welcome positive transformation. As a consultant, she counsels organizations in the area of community outreach & engagement and strategic planning.
Cherri is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, South Bend Area (IN) Chapter, The Links Incorporated, the International Coaching Federation (ICF) & the South Bend Regional Chamber of Commerce. UnEarthed Coaching & Consulting is a certified minority owned business.
